The events below provide you with a unique opportunity to meet, network and negotiate business with the following UK and International buyers:

IBTM 2017

Join Visit Wales on the VisitBritain stand at IBTM 2017 – the leading global event for meetings, incentives, conferences, events and business travel. 

IBTM world (formerly EIBTM) is the leading global event for the meetings, incentives, conferences, events and business travel industry, taking place in Barcelona. The event gathers meetings industry professionals for three days of focused business opportunities, thought provoking professional education and networking to drive your business into the future.

Visit Wales has secured a dedicated Wales space on the VisitBritain pavilion, to promote Wales as a MICE destination and are seeking expressions of interest from Wales suppliers who wish to promote their product or service for Business Events to the MICE market and, where possible, are able to provide regional representation.  

What’s included?

  • Exposure on fully-branded Wales stand on the VisitBritain pavilion, in a dedicated area reserved for UK & Ireland destinations 
  • Your own area with a meeting table, header board and display plasma screen 
  • Access to a personal online diary for each exhibitor and other benefits provided by the show organisers to exhibiting partners
  • Up to 2 exhibitor badges per pod. (note, max. 2 person on pod at any one time)
  • Lighting and electricity supply
  • VW reception desk to field visitor enquiries and to scan and welcome appointments.
  • Complimentary tea, coffee, water for exhibitors and clients on the VisitBritain bar 

Cost: 
Standard Partner Pod - £3,300 + VAT, if granted 40% subsidy, subject to de minimis aid regulation** (full pod cost is £5,500 + VAT)
Please note that the cost of a partner pod does not include travel and subsistence costs e.g. accommodation, flights

Space is limited and Visit Wales reserves the right to confirm participation based on a first come first served basis. You must have an appropriate MICE market friendly product or service and are set up to sell your business events product or service to UK and international. Any accommodation-only providers wishing to exhibit must be either VW or AA graded. If you are interested in attending please note that your pod has to be represented throughout the full three days and only 2 people maximum on the stand at any one time due to limited space.

Meet GREAT Britain

Join Visit Wales at VisitBritain’s new event for International Business Event buyers 
 

After a successful launch of Business Events at ExploreGB in March 2017, VisitBritain’s focus is now looking to expand this event to gather a larger audience of international business events buyers and UK suppliers and provide them with an invaluable opportunity to meet and do business with up to 100 hand-picked buyers from North America and Europe (France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux, Scandinavia).

Who should attend?
Meet GREAT Britain provides an exclusive opportunity for British tourism suppliers and destinations to meet and do business with up to 100 international, fully-hosted business event buyers from North America and Europe. Buyers will be pre-qualified to ensure that they can provide a significant amount of business to participating UK suppliers.

Meet GREAT Britain is open to all British conference suppliers on a first come first served basis including:

  • DMOs / Tourist Boards
  • Venues/Hotels
  • DMCs
  • Events agencies 
  • Other conference product suppliers

The number of suppliers is limited to 1 person per company with an option to bring a second delegate at a cost.

What’s included?

  • Opportunity to meet up to 100 international hosted buyers
  • Markets represented: North America and Europe
  • Up to 38 pre-scheduled, one-to-one meetings over two days
  • Attendance at the Gala Dinner can be included on the Thursday night for an extra cost
  • Opportunity for the tourist boards and convention bureaux to host pre-event fam-trips of up to 10 buyers in each
  • Sponsorship opportunities to increase visibility of your brand/product

The Meetings Show

Join Visit Wales at The Meetings Show 2018 – The premier market and meeting place for the UK meetings industry

The Meetings Show offers an ideal business opportunity to showcase your product or service to Business Event buyers. Don’t miss your chance to explore new opportunities, network in a vibrant setting & learn from industry experts at the premier destination for the UK meetings and events industry. 

Visit Wales plans to secure stand space at The Meetings Show 2018 and are seeking expressions of interest from Wales suppliers who wish to promote their product or service for Business Events to the MICE market and are able to provide regional representation if possible.  

What’s included?

  • Exhibitor pass for the three-day event
  • A branded pod which will provide each partner with space to display literature, to have an iPad or laptop presentation (partners to provide own equipment)
  • Access to a shared storage area and a small lockable storage within each pod for small amounts of literature 
  • Unique log in details to secure appointments
  • Dedicated Visit Wales staff to greet customers on arrival and book in any unscheduled appointments

Cost: 
Standard Partner Pod - £3,000 + VAT
