Success stories

Ali Barber

Ali Barber

Thanks to the support and guidance from my adviser, I was successful in receiving the Town Centre Entrepreneurship Fund, which has enabled me to start my business. I now have a job and a stable future for myself and my family.

Ali Sulaiman is a Syrian refugee who came to Wales a few years ago. He attended one of our Start up webinars which had been specifically tailored for Syrian refugees, where he started developing his business idea of opening a barbershop. His business adviser has also been working closely with Ali over the last 6 months and has helped him with applying for the Town Centre Entrepreneurship Fund by preparing a business plan and creating financial forecasts.

His application was successful, and he has now started trading - he has done a great job with his shop which is in the centre of Wrexham!
