Finding and winning new business opportunities is one of the key challenges faced by construction companies in Wales.

Construction Futures Wales is here to help you to not only prepare your business to ensure you have the best possible chance of winning new contracts, but also ensure you are finding the right contracts most appropriate for your business.

We will be working closely with some major contractors to ensure local Welsh companies win their share of new business in Wales – we will be organising Meet the Buyers events and helping to source as many local contractors for these opportunities as possible.  You will be able to find details of these major projects on this page.

There are several places that you should start your search for new contracts:

The new Sell2Wales website is an information source and procurement portal set up by the Welsh Government. They aim to help:

  • businesses win contracts with the public sector across Wales
  • public sector buyers to advertise and manage tender opportunities
  • businesses promote their services
  • businesses find contract opportunities

We recommend that you register on the Sell2Wales site as soon as possible to receive alerts to appropriate future contracts.

Support is also available through the UK Government support body, Department for International Trade (DIT). The DIT works with UK based businesses to ensure their success in international markets through exports.
