The Welsh Government is expanding 2 schemes in order to increase the availability of superfast broadband in Wales.
Over a 2 year period, all homes and businesses in Wales without a superfast broadband connection will be able to benefit from the Access Broadband Cymru and Ultrafast Connectivity Voucher schemes.
Applicants will be eligible for funding or part funding via the Access Broadband Cymru scheme for the installation of new broadband connections that deliver fast download speeds ie £400 for download speeds of 10mbps and above and £800 for 30mbps and above.
The Ultrafast Connectivity Voucher will be available for all businesses across Wales to help meet the initial capital costs involved in installing ultrafast broadband services. The maximum grant available will be £10,000.
