Our team works with Snowdonia National Park and Gwynedd Council, site owners/landowners and developers to ensure a rapid and excellent response to the property requirements of businesses locating to the areas and sites in the Zone.
We’ve also sped up planning processes here. As a devolved Government, we have made legislative changes, and the private sector-led Snowdonia Enterprise Zone Board works with the strong support of Gwynedd Council and wider partners.
The infrastructure at Trawsfynydd, a 50-hectare (123 acre) site under single public ownership, makes it ideal for first-of-its-kind SMR deployment, with its own local energy grid and natural cooling facility.
At Llanbedr, a comprehensive masterplan is in place to guide phased delivery, with the first phase infrastructure completed, comprising refurbishment of the Air Traffic Control centre, fuel farm and installation of ultrafast broadband.
Hangar facilities are available at the dedicated MRO and RPAS zones and a number of smaller units are on site to serve local, indigenous companies.
