Covid-19 RD&I – Research, Development and Innovation Solutions provided by Welsh Businesses and Research Organisations
The coronavirus outbreak has presented us with a number of challenges and stretched our capacity to deliver products, processes and services that meet the growing demand placed on our NHS and care services.
The Welsh Government has provided close to £5m of support for Innovative businesses and Research Organisations based in Wales to deliver the solutions that address these challenges.
Challenges include;
- Development of medical products, devices and equipment
- Infection Control and Testing
- Meeting the demand for Personal Protective Equipment
- Development of rapid Sanitisation techniques and products
