MSCA COFUND Fellowships

Individual researchers, 3 – 5 years post PhD, who have not been resident in the UK for more than 12 months in the last 3 years, can apply for a fellowship by submitting an outline of the research they would like to carry out within a host institution in Wales.

If you have any questions, please contact the management team through the SER CYMRU II MAILBOX

Eligibility

Fellows must meet the eligibility criteria set out within the SIRCIW MSCA COFUND scheme which are designed to encourage mobility of fellows between countries, provide them with excellent training to further their research careers, and if and when possible, provide them with intersectoral experience through working with commercial or third sector organisations.

  • Applicants must be Experienced Researchers (ERs) at the time of the deadline for submission of proposals. For example they are in possession of a doctoral degree (or have at least 4 years of full time equivalent research experience) plus approximately 3 – 5 years’ postdoctoral research experience.

  • Applicants can be of any nationality but must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies and so on) in the UK for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the deadline for submission of proposals (short stays such as holidays are not taken into account).

  • Applicants must submit a completed application form.

  • Applications must comply with the fundamental ethic principles.

  • Applicants must have the support of their chosen host institution.

Applications that do not meet the eligibility criteria or do not adhere to the guidelines given here will be rejected by the management team.
