'Farming for the Future’ Roadshow

The roadshow will feature presenters such as Euryn Jones, HSBC and Wendy Jenkins, CARA and will cover an array of topics including:

  • Preparing your farm business for a future post Brexit
  • Take control – the value of effective business planning
  • Safeguard your future – personal, business and technical development 

There will also be a focus on the many ways in which Farming Connect can support the above, in particular through the Advisory Service, which can provide eligible businesses with up to four instances of advice over a four year period.

Attendance at one of the Farming for the Future events will be a requirement for any individual intending to make an application to the Welsh Government’s Farm Business Grant (FBG) which can provide a one-off grant of between £3,000 and £12,000. Farmers across Wales will be able to invest in around 70 items linked to animal health; genetics and performance; crop management; energy efficiency; resource efficiency and ICT.


Doors open at each event for mandatory signing in at 7pm, the event will begin at 7.30. Booking in advance is essential.
