Typically 1- 2 days training with an integrated assessment (course duration dependent upon how experienced you are in tractor driving). A certificate will be issued following successful completion.

The tractor is an essential piece of machinery for so many businesses and operating it safely and efficiently is absolutely vital. We will guide you through the theory behind tractor driving, with sessions on key health and safety issues.

You will also receive plenty of hands-on experience behind the wheel. Basic operations and manoeuvring will be covered, as will using attachments, trailers and the power take-off (PTO) shaft. Course sessions include: Health and safety legislation, controls, pre- start checks, operating the tractor, manoeuvring, mounted implements, trailed machines, PTO. The course will be a mixture of theory and practical sessions with the opportunity to drive on different types of terrain. This course is designed for both novices and more seasoned tractor users.
