A series of priority actions to support Wales’ world class food and drink industry recover from the impact of Covid19 have today [Wednesday 29 July] been jointly published by the Welsh Government and the Food and Drink Wales Industry Board.
After joining their first virtual trade webinar during lockdown a Denbighshire bakery, Henllan Bread, has struck gold securing a three month contract to supply a supermarket chain in Qatar with high hopes of moving into other regions.

The Prince of Wales has recorded a special video message to support Wales’ bid to host the Worldchefs Congress and Expo in 2024.
The Culinary Association of Wales (CAW) is today (Wednesday) sending the message to the president of every Worldchefs member country who will be voting in the ballot to decide whether Wales or Singapore hosts the global culinary event, which is expected to attract 1,000 chefs and up to 10,000 visitors.
