Wales can boast a range of world class facilities and services for event owners and organisers.

A guiding principle of Event Wales is to make effective and efficient use of Wales resources, including built facilities and our outstanding natural environment. We aim to utilise Wales’s assets to attract events and to use the events to showcase the assets. Examples include:

  • natural environment – cliff diving at the Blue Lagoon in Pembrokeshire

  • built infrastructure – 8 rugby World Cup matches at the Millennium Stadium 2015, Senior Open at Royal Porthcawl in 2014

  • tour of Britain cycling in mid and north Wales showcasing Wales as cycling destination, providing a stunning backdrop and an amazing outdoor arena

Whilst we look to develop a balanced geographical spread of events across Wales, appropriate venues and willing partners in both the private and public sector, are key drivers for the government.

Use the Find a Venue facility for your specific requirements (currently under construction).
