Innovate UK (IUK) is running a competition in Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) research, with particular reference to innovative drugs, diagnostics and vaccines to tackle drug-resistant bacteria.
This competition is for capital investment, including refurbishment and equipment. All applications must focus on reducing the impact of antibacterial resistance on human health.
Projects need to demonstrate that the capital investment grant they are requesting will:
- advance the UK’s ability to tackle the global challenges of AMR
- encourage public/private partnerships and maximise further investment
The competition project is open to any UK organisation working on its own or in a consortium.
The deadline for registrations is noon on 27 October 2016.
