Growing Workforces through Learning and Development (GWLAD) project

The GWLAD project will provide enterprises with practical, flexible and achievable on-going staff development.

The programme has been designed to develop specific courses for individual businesses to meet their particular workforce needs. It enables learners to claim university credit for prior experiential learning and to deliver an extensive range of established and new modules leading to qualifications in Professional Practice.

These modules can be undertaken on their own or can build towards an overall qualification, from a Certificate of Higher Education to a Master’s Degree.

The courses available are:

  • leadership

  • marketing

  • coaching and mentoring

  • mindfulness

  • human resources

  • project management

  • managing teams

  • sustainability

GWLAD has subsidies of 50% to 70% available to businesses and not-for-profit organisations in south-west Wales to assist with their employee learning costs.

For further information please visit the University of Wales Trinity Saint David website, telephone one of the GWLAD team on 01267 225167 or email gwlad@uwtsd.ac.uk
