The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), in collaboration with Innovate UK, have launched the next opportunity to bid for funding from the Industrial Energy Transformation Fund (IETF).
Businesses in Wales, England and Northern Ireland will have a further opportunity to bid for up to £40 million in grant funding through the IETF Phase 1: Spring 2021 competition window.
The applicant guidance contains all the information necessary for applying for the Phase 1: Spring 2021 competition. The competition will open for applications on 8 March 2021 and will close at 11am Wednesday 14 July 2021.

IETF Phase 1: Spring 2021 stakeholder event
BEIS is hosting an online IETF Phase 1: Spring 2021 briefing webinar on Wednesday 11 March 2021. The webinar will be of interest to a number of organisations and professionals including manufacturing companies, data centres, energy efficiency and decarbonisation innovators and professionals interested in collaborating on a project.
BEIS intend to hold a further briefing webinar after the application window opens. Further details will be available in due course.
Welsh Government will also be hosting a webinar on the 24 March 2021 in conjunction with the KTN, to provide a practical guide to applying for support and will companies have the opportunity to book a limited number of 1-2-1 company sessions to discuss their potential projects.
