Under the scheme, which is being delivered through the Exporting is GREAT campaign and operated through the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), small and medium sized music companies can apply for grants ranging from £5,000 to £50,000. This will help to promote British artists around the world, giving them the opportunity to go global with their talents.
Applications will be open to all UK independent record labels and music management companies meeting the application criteria.
Eligible project costs include:
- marketing costs (including advertising and PR)
- tour support or venue costs including international travel
- visa costs
- international promotion costs including hire of session musicians/singers and so forth for television performances
Preference within the scheme will be given to companies seeking to promote new artists who are in their first 3 years of recording.
The deadline for this round of applications is 6pm on 7 November, 2016.
