The Nokia Open Innovation Challenge 2016 is looking for futuristic technologies, the next big ideas and new business models in The Internet of Things (IoT) domain. It is open to innovators, start-ups and organisations worldwide who are developing the technologies of tomorrow.
The submission could be a new technology, a business model or a combination of both that will help to improve lives.
The top 15 selected teams will participate in a 2 day workshop and award ceremony in Paris in October. The finalists will have the opportunity to join the Nokia Innovation Accelerator Programme.
Each innovator team will be awarded with up to €100,000 incubation prize, coupled with the following:
- investment opportunities
- technology boost by accessing Nokia’s products, services and resources
- co-creation with assigned Nokia champions and mentorship
- tailored support and consultancy
Entrants must be able to demonstrate a working prototype for their idea.
Innovations can be submitted until 15 August 2016.
