Working in hot temperatures guidance

Although the Great British Summer often doesn't result in hot temperatures there will be times when the sun does come out and workers find themselves working in hot conditions. In the UK there is no maximum temperature that a workplace is allowed to be.

The Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS) provide information and advice for employers and employees on subjects ranging from equality and discrimination to health and wellbeing at work.

For further information and guidance on what to do during periods of hot weather please visit the ACAS website.
