OVERVIEW:

This Framework specifies the standards and criteria for the delivery of Levels 2 & 3 & 4 training provision within the Energy sector. Successful completion of the provision will lead to the award of a designated/regulated qualification(s) within the sector.

The Level 2 Apprenticeship is suitable for a variety of roles including Materials Recycling Facility Operative (Picker/Sorter)/ Recycling Operative (Reception & Segregation / Processing). Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) Operative.  Manual/Mechanical
Street Cleanser, Recyclables Collection Driver / Operative.

The Level 3 Apprenticeship is suitable for a variety of roles, including Recycling/Refuse Collection Supervisor (Team Leader). Transfer Station Supervisor. Treatment (Physical/ Chemical/ Thermal) Supervisor. Biological Treatment (In Vessel Composting/ Open Windrow/ Anaerobic Digestion). Landfill Supervisor. Sustainability Officer.

The Level 4 Apprenticeship is suitable for a variety of roles, including Fleet Manager.  Refuse Manager. Refuse Collection Manager. Management of refuse collection operations.  Transfer Station Manager.  Household Waste.  Recycling Centre (HWRC) Manager.  Landfill Manager.  Sustainability Manager.

The Level 3 Apprenticeship is suitable for a variety of roles, including First Call Operative. Gas Installation Engineer / Gas Maintenance Engineer / Gas Installation & Maintenance Engineer – (Gas Fired Wet Central Heating). Gas Installation Engineer / Gas Maintenance Engineer – (Gas Heating and Energy Efficiency).  Craftsperson, Technician, Network Technician, Senior Network Technician.

The Level 3 Apprenticeship aims to provide the skills and knowledge required for various roles including a Leakage Field Technician, Network Construction Technician, Water Fittings Inspector, Wastewater Technician

The Level 4 Apprenticeship aims to provide the skills and knowledge required for various roles including a Network Manager, Leakage Manager, Design Technician/Project Engineer, (Trainee) Network Modeller.
