It is widely accepted by business leaders that if you improve the effectiveness of your staff, you'll increase productivity and enhance profitability. The GWLAD programme helps businesses become more successful by providing practicable, relevant and heavily subsidised (by up to 70%) training support for their staff.
The business benefits
By enhancing their skills, your team will be better equipped to excel in the job, improve customer relations, attract more business, adapt and embrace change and target new, lucrative markets.
So if you want to develop the skills of your team and reap the rewards, then GWLAD can make it happen. GWLAD can design, plan, implement and monitor flexible learning programmes for your staff which can be delivered at your workplace, or wherever it suits best.
Everything they do, they do to make it more feasible, practical and cost effective for you to embark on staff training programmes that have been proven to:
- Improve staff motivation, team spirit and get everyone striving together.
- Help businesses retain staff by keeping them challenged, rewarded and fulfilled.
- Provide the skills needed to nurture growth and capitalise on new markets and business opportunities.
- Address the gaps in skills and knowledge that, left unchecked, can hold back businesses.
What support will you get?
There are subsidies of between 50% and 70% available, making it extremely cost effective for businesses of all sizes. The GWLAD programme is led by the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) and supported by the European Social Fund through the Welsh Government.
The intermediate and higher level qualifications that can be gained from GWLAD programme are recognised, respected and valued nationally. The programmes are tailor-made, consisting of a mix of modules leading to a range of professional practice qualifications with specific courses selected to meet the particular needs of each and every business - large or small. To achieve these qualifications naturally requires the commitment of the employer and the individual, with the delivery of modules including lecture time at the place of work, tutor support, self-guided study and assessment.
In return, you'll be able to accredit in-company staff development programmes, whilst your learners will be able to accrue university credit for prior experiential or 'on the job' training they successfully compete.
