Investment in fuelwood processing equipment to create demand for low value timber species, including Chalara.
This proposition will create a pull through demand for timber; generating viable harvesting operations for the small-scale extraction of timber species from various under-managed woodlands locally in South West Wales. Working with various organisations in the supply chain, Coed Myrddin seeks to invest £76,500 in firewood processing equipment to increase the mobilisation of timber.
