Farming Connect offers advice to support businesses to become more versatile and to be able to adapt to change, and in relation to this there will be events across Wales.

Jeremy Moody, CAAV (Central Association of Agricultural Valuers) will be a speaker at the event. Jeremy Moody has been secretary and adviser to the CAAV since 1995. He was closely involved with the Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995, several rounds of Common Agricultural Policy reform and now the Brexit process.

He handles the many issues covered by the CAAV across the United Kingdom including agricultural tenancy and land occupation issues, taxation, valuation and telecommunications, liaising with government at all levels and writing widely on both policy and practice. He is an Assembly member of the European Group of Valuers’ Associations (TEGoVA) and Vice Chairman of the European Valuation Standards Board.

Attending this event will also enable your business to have access to Funded technical advice by Farming Connect advisors. The individual attending must be registered as a business partner with Farming Connect and Welsh Government Rural Payment Wales.

Before attending an event, you must ensure that the business and individuals attending are registered with Farming Connect.  A cross reference will be made before application for technical advice can be approved to confirm attendance at a specific event.

Your local Development Officer can provide ongoing support and guidance as required. They can also help you identify any additional business requirements and signpost you to other Farming Connect services.

This event is free of charge, but it’s essential that you book your place. To book your place, contact Delyth Evans: delyth.evans@menterabusnes.co.uk / 01970 600 176.
