Join Visit Wales at ITB Berlin 2018 – the world’s leading exhibition in the tourism calendar.
 
ITB provides a unique opportunity for you to meet, network, negotiate and conduct business with more than:
 
• 1,000 qualified top buyers
• 100,000 trade visitors
• 10,000 exhibitors 
• 60,000 consumers
 
The Wales stand location will be in the European Hall (18) in the VisitBritain Pavilion.  This will provide you with a dedicated area to host your own meetings and sell your product direct to international buyers and consumers.
 
Format
  • 07-09 March: Trade and media days only
  • 10-11 March: Consumer days (open to general public)
Costs
Costs include access to the exhibition and an invitation to VisitBritain’s exclusive hosted networking event (taking place the evening of Tuesday 6 March).
  
For those interested, you will be able to choose from one of the four options listed below, allowing you to exhibit within a budget to suit your needs:
  • Shared meeting table 
  • Private meeting table   
  • Single stand with shared meeting table 
  • Single stand with private meeting table 
Estimated costs will range between £2,395 and £6,495 exclusive of UK VAT at 20%. 
 
Costs do NOT include accommodation or travel. 
 
This year we have made a block booking at a hotel near the venue at early booking rates.  Early confirmation will secure the rates allowing partners to stay close to the venue together with the Visit Wales team.
 
Please note – spaces at this event are limited and allocated on a first come first served basis.

British Tourism & Travel Show (BTTS)

Be part of the Visit Wales pavilion at British Tourism & Travel Show from 21-22 March 2018. After the success and partner feedback from the 2017 event, Visit Wales will be hosting a pavilion again in 2018 and will be located prominently in the main mix of the hall, next to the VIP lounge.   
 
The British Tourism & Travel Show has established itself as the ultimate business event in the British and Irish domestic tourism industry. It brings together hotels, attractions and destinations wanting to meet and do business with key decision makers, responsible for planning holidays, trips and tours and breaks.
 
The show will attract 3,000 visitors across two highly focused days and will offer your brand unrivalled access to this lucrative audience. Attendees include:
  • coach operators
  • tour operators
  • group travel organisers
  • travel agents
  • wholesalers
  • education & youth organisers
  • sporting event organisers

Exclusive show initiatives:

New – Destination Europe - Dedicated to attractions, destinations and hotels in mainland Europe, this new area will be co located with BTTS18. Adding a new dimension for visitors and more exhibitors to the floorplan, this exciting new development will drive even more buyers to the event.
 
British Coach Tourism Awards - Timed to coincide with BTTS, these awards recognise excellence and celebrate achievements across the coach tourism industry. Award nominees will be invited as VIPs to the show, giving you even more quality visitors.
 
VIP Buyers Programme - Working closely with partners and exhibitors BTTS undertake a robust qualifying process, with buyers fulfilling strict criteria, ensuring you meet and do business with the people that really matter.
 
Meeting Planner - This free of charge technology is open to all exhibitors. Access buyers ahead of the show, request a meeting and then fill up your diary. Those who engage with pre-arranged meetings are proven to have a more successful event. 
 
Visit Wales have secured space for up to 14 pods as part of the Wales pavilion and have negotiated a rate with the organisers as follows:
  • Total cost for partner pod: £1,540.00 + VAT  
  • Option for up to 2 partners only to share and split costs £770+ VAT 
Please note that the cost of a partner pod does not include travel and subsistence costs. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
 
Package includes:
  • furniture: storage cabinet, 2 stools  
  • graphic board – artwork to be provided by exhibitor
  • company name fascia board 
  • stand light & carpet 
  • Wi-fi is free and available within the hall.

Tourism suppliers wishing to work with the travel trade including:

The British Tourism & Travel Show is a travel trade event only and there will be no opportunity to meet direct with consumers. You must have an appropriate travel trade friendly product and offer travel trade rates (commission/net rates).  Any accommodation provider wishing to exhibit must be either Visit Wales or AA graded.
