Industrial Growth Fund

Wind turbine - off shore

The Offshore Wind Growth Partnership (OWGP) has launched its most ambitious programme to date.

Offering funding from £300,000 to £25 million per supply chain project, to support investment priorities set out in the Industrial Growth Plan (IGP). Funding for this programme comes from Offshore Wind Industry Council (OWIC) developer members through their Industrial Growth Fund (IGF).

The IGF is designed to accelerate capital investment in domestic manufacturing of key components, systems and services into the offshore wind sector.

Since 2019, funding from OWIC, an industry government coalition, has supported over 387 high-impact projects that have strengthened the capacity and capability of the UK offshore wind supply chain. The IGF represents a new, larger phase of funding, and will support organisations looking to expand or build new facilities. The IGP priorities the funding will support include manufacturing turbine blades, cables and foundations, as well as cutting edge technology in environmental services.

UK-based companies with demonstrated intent to supply the offshore wind sector, including existing offshore wind suppliers, companies from adjacent sectors and new entrants with transferable capabilities are eligible to apply.

Join the ‘The Industrial Growth Fund: Explained’ webinar for UK supply-chain companies looking to scale in the offshore wind sector, on 14 November 2025 at 10am.

Applications for the IGF will close on Friday 12 December at 5pm.
