Guidance

Supply Chain Transition Flexible Fund

Welcome to the Supply Chain Transition Flexible Fund for Tata Steel UK (TSUK)

The eligibility checker tool below is designed to establish if you may be eligible for support through this fund. It is not an application and if your business is eligible you will be contacted by Business Wales to organise a more in-depth discussion about your business and the challenges you are facing which may include making an application for funding.

The process is simple, and please answer all questions honestly and accurately. If you meet the criteria, further instructions on how to proceed will follow.

Because we know that some businesses will be impacted more than others, priority will be given to those businesses that are reliant on TATA for more than 50% of their turnover in the last 12 months and expect to experience at least a 30% drop in their turnover over the next 2 years.

Further guidance can be on the Supply Chain Transition Flexible Fund for Tata Steel UK (TSUK) Cyngor Castell-nedd Port Talbot page.

You May Be Eligible for the TSUK Supply Chain Flexible Fund

Based on your answers, it appears that your business may be eligible for funding through the TSUK Supply Chain Flexible Fund. Before accessing the funds, you will need to complete a diagnostic assessment through Business Wales to confirm eligibility, understand the needs of your business and confirm the specific support you need. Business Wales will be in touch and invite you to complete the diagnostic process. Here’s a short step-by-step outline of what happens next.

Priority will be given to those businesses with the highest reliance on TATA and the greatest impact on their turnover in the short term. 2. Diagnostic Process: Once completed and you have been identified as being eligible to apply, you will be invited to complete a grant application
  3. Submit the Grant Application: Neath Port Talbot Council will contact you to explain what information you need to accompany your application.
  4. Council Decision: Once the application has been completed the council will inform you of the decision and the next steps. Please note that the decision is final and there is no appeals process.
