They act as head distributor for many product lines in Europe and a significant proportion of their revenues are from exports to the EU. The company recently had an opportunity to acquire the business of a competitor which in turn led to a potential doubling of revenues to £6m pa.
The Accelerated Growth Programme has provided a holistic support infrastructure around the business to help it overcome the growth challenges inherent in doubling revenues within a year. Areas where the Accelerated Growth Programme has provided support are – process control, including ISO9001, team building and recruitment, strategy and business planning, IT infrastructure and financial control.
The MD at Something Different has been very complementary about the support received, which she confesses has far exceeded her expectations. As a result of the AGP intervention, 17 new jobs have been created.
