Ewan Heppenstall wins Adult Learner of The Year Award at Inspire 2022 National Ceremony.
We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that Project SEARCH Graduate; Ewan Heppenstall has received the Adult Learner of the Year Award at INSPIRE Adult Learning Ceremony 2022.
This is a national award and Ewan was selected from hundreds of candidates, in recognition of his achievements.

Ewan successfully graduated from Project SEARCH at Dow Silicones, Barry at the end of 2021 and has gone on to gain full time employment as a retail assistant at CF10 Retail. Ewan states “I am always eager to get stuck in and work hard. People see me as an asset and I really love working there.”
Ewan is an advocate for opportunities for disabled people and adds “Disabled people should be included and given a chance to prove themselves. We should be included by more employers.”
He now delivers motivational workshops to other learners who are at the start of their own journeys, inspiring them to try their best and give it a go, stating that “Education and skills training can open doors and give everyone a second chance.”
