Public Procurement in Ireland: Expert Insights and Getting Involved Webinar

The Department for International Trade in Ireland is hosting a webinar for UK companies to hear about best practice in bidding for public sector contracts in Ireland.

Procurement is a key priority in Ireland’s Programme for Government – purchases of supplies, services and works by Ireland’s public sector are expected to be worth €33 billion in 2021, and €150 billion over the next 5 years. Ireland has more than 3,000 Contracting Authorities, which encompasses government departments and local authorities, state commercial companies, charities, state bodies, and local and community groups.

The webinar takes place on 11 May 2021 at 10am and subjects include the following:

  • an introduction to tendering
  • compliance for third countries
  • top tips for bid writing
  • bid evaluation

There will also be an opportunity for a brief Q&A session at the end.

You can register your interest to attend the webinar by 5pm on Tuesday 4 May via the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Ireland_Public_Procurement
