Safer Internet Day, 10 February 2026, is a great opportunity for children and young people, school staff, parents and carers and businesses in Wales to get involved in a truly global campaign.
Coordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre the celebration sees hundreds of organisations get involved to help promote the safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology for children and young people.
This year’s theme is ‘Smart tech, safe choices – Exploring the safe and responsible use of AI’. Everyone’s talking about AI, and with many children and young people hearing about and using AI online, it’s important they have the skills and confidence to make safe choices when they are using smart technology.
