Eriez entered into an enhanced Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with Cardiff University. This helped Eriez launch their new digital metal detector as they had access to the academic expertise of Cardiff University as well as having an undergraduate to train with, which led to a skilled employee.
The enhanced part of this KTP meant that their travelling costs were also covered by the funding of the scheme.
