Welsh Government is pleased to invite your company to participate in its multi-sector Export Market Visit to San Francisco, USA, and Game Developers Conference (GDC). 

Why San Francisco?
San Francisco is a renowned hub for the incubation and development of the knowledge economy. Many business and academic institutions are at the cutting edge of global technology, including environmental & cleantech, ICT & software development, medical & biotechnology, digital & social media and financial & professional services.

San Francisco is a good base to explore export opportunities in 
the wider Northern Californian market, in particular San Jose and Silicon Valley.

The Cost
The Welsh Government is supporting* companies to take part in this export market visit.

Cost per company representative: £1650, which includes:

•    Return flights
•    In-market transfers (if you travel with the group)
•    5 night’s accommodation with breakfast (Sunday– Friday)
•    Attendance at in-market events
•    Inclusion in any marketing material

*This offer is available for one representative per company, subject to eligibility.

1-5 March – Game Developers Conference/Opportunity for companies to have their own meetings / pre-arranged meetings Programme in San Francisco

Arrangement of Meetings Services (Optional)
If you would like to maximise your time at the event, we can offer support for a programme of 3-4 meetings to be arranged for you by one of our business consultants. This service is available from £500.

Please note, if you would like this support, then you must submit your application 10 weeks before the export market visit or exhibition departs.

If your application is submitted after 24 January 2027 then we cannot guarantee that there is there is sufficient time to effectively provide this additional support.

*Costs are subject to eligibility and availability. The Welsh Government has secured a limited number of packages at the advertised rate. We will make every effort to accommodate applications beyond our allocation; however, applications received after the deadline or once all allocated packages have been allocated may be subject to higher costs than those advertised. To secure the advertised rate, we recommend applying as early as possible.

Attendance at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) is not included in this advert cost. Companies wishing to attend the conference must purchase their own passes directly from the event organiser.
