The Biotechnology Innovation Organisation (BIO) represents more than 1,100 biotechnology companies, academic institutions, state biotechnology centres and related organisations across the United States and in more than 30 other nations.
Last year, BIO 2023 showcased four days of inspiring programming, welcomed attendees from 20,559+ companies from 73 countries, with 57,044 partnering meetings.

The Welsh Government is supporting* companies to take part in BIO International Convention. For this event, you can attend either as an exhibitor or as a visitor:
Exhibitor
The cost is £4,750.00*. This includes:
- Space on the Wales stand
- Return flights
- In-market transfers
- 6 night’s accommodation with breakfast (Sunday - Friday)
- Attendance at in-market events, including business networking events
- Inclusion in any marketing material
The offer is available to two representatives per company.
Visitor
The cost is £1,850.00*. This includes:
- Return flights
- In-market transfers
- 6 night’s accommodation with breakfast (Sunday - Friday)
- Entrance to the trade show
- Inclusion in any marketing material
- Access to meeting space on the Wales stand
- Attendance at in-market events, including business networking events

Please note, if you would like this support, then you must submit your application 10 weeks before the export market visit or exhibition departs. If your application is submitted after 12 April 2024 then we cannot guarantee that there is there is sufficient time to effectively provide this additional support.
