Organisers of leading technology event, Digital 2016, have announced this year’s Digital Dozen – a diverse mix of companies that are making an impact on the UK’s economy through ground-breaking uses of technology and all things digital.

12 companies have been invited to attend this June’s event and 7 of those companies are on the Accelerated Growth Programme.  A number of these businesses will take to the stage along with an impressive line-up of speakers from leading organisations including Google, Twitter, Sage, HP, Cisco, and more, covering everything from the latest developments in IT software to exciting disruptive technologies such as Virtual Reality, Big Data, and the Internet of Things.

Digital 2016’s Digital Dozen are:

  • Amplyfi: created to deliver business insights into possible technology or market disruptions by commercialising Intelligence Community artificial intelligence techniques used for cyber surveillance
  • Cellnovo: an innovative medical technology company specialising in diabetes, that has developed the world's first connected all-in-one diabetes management system based on a micro pump 
  • Delio: provides investment platforms to financial institutions that help better connect their high net worth clients with private market investment opportunities
  • Devopsguys: help make organisations more agile, scalable and responsive by streamlining IT functions, freeing companies from the burden of ‘technical debt’
  • doopoll: an online platform that generates dynamic and visual ‘polls’ to enable effective decision making
  • Echosec: software that searches social media based on location helping paint a picture of events in real-time as they unfold
  • Elidir Health: practical, user-centric software and mobile applications that enable smoother information flow in healthcare environments
  • Interceptor Solutions: created LinguaSkin, a product that enables a multilingual interface to be created for monolingual web applications quickly and easily
  • Learnium: is a SaaS social learning platform that enables students and teachers to connect, communicate and collaborate online
  • Noddlepod: a community-based learning tool that provides a safe and private environment where participants of a leadership programme or a community can share knowledge, support and learn from each other
  • RWA: e-learning solutions that focus on the learner and are now used around the world. RWA developed and still run the Aviva Development Zone, an online learning platform which provides e-learning solutions for over 8,000 insurance brokers in the UK
  • Wealthify: an online investment service using technology and smart algorithms to make investing accessible and affordable for everyone
