The Welsh Government has teamed up with the SBRI Centre of Excellence in Wales to launch the Agri-Food Technology Challenge.

The Challenge looks to develop innovation within agricultural and food sectors, incorporating new technologies on-farm or throughout the wider agri-food supply chain including manufacturing and production.

The development and adoption of Agri-Tech and Precision Agri-Tech is a strategic area of growth for the Welsh economy and one that the Welsh Government deems requiring focussed attention and a road map for development.

The Welsh Government are investing £500,000 for this challenge that looks to support feasibility projects that can begin to address the aims of the Challenge.

The closing date for applications is 29 November 2024.
