Revenue grant to help raise awareness and support equality and inclusion within communities.
These grants aim to support people with protected characteristics and help advance the Welsh Government’s National Equality Objectives 2024 to 2028.
It has 2 types of revenue grants:
- Awareness and engagement grant – Funding is available for activities that raise awareness of, or support engagement with protected groups.
- Innovation grant – Funding to support organisations working together to enhance communication, joint working, adoption of innovative approaches responding to tackling inequality and inclusion at the regional, local or community level.
Funding and criteria
- Awareness and engagement grant – Smaller: £2,000 to £9,999. Larger grants: £10,000 to £100,000.
- Innovation grant – Awards from £40,000 to £200,000.
Who can apply for the grant?
- Third sector organisations (for example, community groups, registered charities, social enterprises).
- Local authorities (as collaborators).
- Other public bodies (as collaborators).
Applications must be sent no later than 16 November 2025 at 11:59pm.
