
On 1 October 2024, UK legislation came into force to continue recognition of EU requirements, including the CE marking for a range of products being placed on the GB market. This legislation is called The Product Safety and Metrology Regulation (Amendment) 2024 and applies to 21 product regulations.
To further support industry, the UK government has provided new guidance pages to assist businesses in placing their products on the market.
