Could your business benefit from support to improve its cyber security?

Cyber security - digital padlock

Thousands of small and medium-sized business owners across the UK can now take advantage of a new UK Government-backed 75% discount for the Cyber Essentials certification programme, a scheme helping businesses put essential protections in place to safeguard their systems from cyber threats and attacks.

Cyber Essentials helps organisations stay safe by ensuring 5 technical controls are in place:

  • Firewalls
  • Secure configuration
  • Security update management
  • User access control
  • Malware protection

The package brings together two complementary offers:

  • Cyber Essentials First Step Fund – offers a 75% discount on the cost of a Cyber Essentials certificate and is available to SMEs applying for their first Cyber Essentials certificate.
  • Cyber Resilience Pledge: Cyber Essentials for Suppliers Grant – offers a 100% discount on the cost of a Cyber Essentials certificate, together with access to a Cyber Advisor. It's available to selected suppliers within the supply chains of organisations which have signed the Cyber Resilience Pledge.
