Council Tax reform in Wales

Criccieth, Gwynedd, Wales, a man using his ride on mower to cut the grass on a hillside around his cabin.

The Welsh Government has asked the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) to start preparing to carry out a proposed revaluation of all 1.5 million domestic properties in Wales.

As part of this the VOA has contacted households that live on a working farm or mobile home, asking for information. You can find out more by going to Information on farmhouses and agricultural properties, and residential caravans and park homes (questionnaire) - GOV.UK

You need to complete this questionnaire within 21 days from the date the Valuation Office Agency wrote to you requesting this information.

The Welsh Government has invited views on options for reforming Council Tax in Wales. You can read the consultation document at Council Tax reform | GOV.WALES

There are no immediate changes to Council Tax bands. You only need to provide information to the VOA if they have asked you to do so.
