January 2025 will see the launch of the Croeso 25, the next in the series of themed years from Visit Wales and their flagship marketing campaign for Wales, Hwyl (the Welsh word for fun) - which will focus on the feelings of fun and joy that you can experience "Only in Wales".
Their toolkit for the Year of Croeso is now available, to help stakeholders shout even more loudly to the world about our unique Welsh Croeso (welcome) and celebrate our iconic experiences, products, destinations and culture, that can be found only in Wales; must do experiences that we want to invite visitors to feel, taste and see.
The toolkit includes their new Working with Us guide, the Croeso 25 logo and high-quality imagery for industry to download and use in related marketing activity. And looking ahead to the new year - it's also a good time to start thinking of your marketing opportunities around the celebration of Santes Dwynwen’s Day on 25 January - Wales' very own version of St Valentine's Day.
Positioned as the most romantic day of the year in Wales, this key date offers those memorable moments of hwyl; when we exchange cards and gifts, take time out, have special meals with our loved ones... some may go as far as to take long walks on deserted beaches, carve lovespoons, cwtsh (cuddle) up in front of a roaring log fire and all that romantic fuzziness.
