Cynnig Cymraeg week takes place from 12 to 16 May 2025.
The Welsh Offer is recognition by the Welsh Language Commissioner given to organisations with a strong Plan. Here's an opportunity to transform your engagement with the public by showing how proud you are to offer services in Welsh.
If you already have a Policy or Plan in place, the Commissioner can work with you to develop it further and work towards gaining official recognition.
This is an opportunity to celebrate businesses and charities that take pride in the Welsh language by offering Welsh language services to the public.
Welsh speakers and learners should have the opportunity to receive all kinds of services through the medium of Welsh. To be able to live our life in Welsh we need to know what services are available.
The week will be a celebration of successful organisations that have have already received the Cynnig Cymraeg and those working towards it. It’s also an opportunity to raise awareness of the Welsh language services available and encourage the public to use these services. The Commissioner hopes to see more businesses and charities using the language and receiving this recognition.
