Driving safely for work survey

For most people, driving will be one of the most dangerous activity they do and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) are interested to hear from people who drive for work, or those who employ them.

It is estimated that one third of all road traffic collisions (RTCs) in Britain involve someone driving as part of their job and countless other RTCs involving people travelling to or from their place of work.

As a person who drives for work, or employs those who do, the HSE is interested in your views/experiences regarding the risks you/your employees face when driving in work time (excluding commuting).

This information will be used by HSE to update its guidance INDG382 Driving at Work www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg382.htm to help duty holders manage work-related road risk.

In recent years, significant developments in driving technologies and practices have brought the currency of this guidance into question and the HSE want to identify how it can be improved in terms of relevance and accessibility.

For further information, and to complete the survey, please visit the HSE website, the survey will close on 31 January 2021.
