Come to the online event ‘Fairtrade Storytelling: behind the scenes’ to learn more about how Fair Trade organisations are reframing their narratives, and how you can learn from them.
Join Fair Trade Wales and Hub Cymru Africa, to take a closer look at storytelling and to discuss the ethics of promotion in the Fair Trade movement.
Hear from several Fair Trade Organisations on recent shifts in how they communicate their work to a UK audience and how some of their approaches link to Hub Cymru Africa’s Anti-Racism Charter point 8: “We will adopt appropriate and thoughtful language, storytelling and images. We recognise that they have meaning, can cause harm and can reinforce racism”.
Fairtrade Fortnight runs 27 February - 12 March 2023, if you are thinking about how you can tell your Fair Trade stories, this event is for you! You’ll get to hear from some big Fair Trade names and also get the opportunity to ask your questions.
