Disabled entrepreneurs are disproportionately more likely to start their own businesses due to difficulty finding a job role that can meet all their accessibility needs, and research from Small Business Britain has found that access to peer to peer support and confidence can be two massive barriers.
In the spirit of the Paralympics, d:Entrepreneur believes it's important to shine a light on those business owners with a disability and create a platform of visible role models to encourage and inspire other budding entrepreneurs out there much like the Paralympics does so well.
