Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) are a core component of Wales’ RD&I offer to businesses. Welsh Government announced an increased funding contribution for eligible KTPs to make them more accessible and cost effective for SMEs based in Wales, and to encourage more businesses to benefit from the programme. Originally, applications faced a 27 January 2021 deadline but this has now been extended to 30 June 2021.
Due to the current difficult economic climate, this newly extended offer will allow eligible SME businesses in Wales to claim 75% of the project costs of a KTP.
