The law is changing – make sure you’re ready.
By 31 March 2027, you must register your visitor accommodation with the Welsh Revenue Authority. Registration opened on 1 October 2026.
Registration applies to all visitor accommodation providers, including:
- casual hosts renting out a spare room now and then
- professional providers running all year round
You must register even if your council has not introduced a Visitor Levy.
