The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), in collaboration with Innovate UK KTN, will be hosting a webinar at 10am on Wednesday 5 July 2023 to present the proposed scope and delivery mechanism for the £185 million Phase 3 Industrial Energy Transformation Fund (IETF).
The IETF supports businesses with high energy use to transition to a low carbon future, and to cut their energy bills and carbon emissions through increased energy efficiency and decarbonisation relating to the industrial process itself.
This consultation event will present the proposed scope, eligibility rules and application process for the Phase 3 competitions to ensure that the IETF is still fit for purpose and will enable industrial sites in England, Wales and Northern Ireland to decarbonise their industrial processes.
The webinar will benefit organisations who may wish to make an application to Phase 3 when it opens in 2024, including industrial sites who have not been able to take advantage of the programme in Phases 1 and 2.
