Join Cardiff University for an interactive and informative session, looking at funding opportunities in Wales.
The Welsh Government recently released its delivery plan for Wales Innovates: Creating a Stronger, Fairer, Greener Wales. With economic goals including ‘to increase the number, impact, diversity and ambition of businesses that are innovation active within Wales’ and ‘to increase the amount of investment in RD&I activity across all sectors, ensuring a fair regional share aligned to the priorities and strengths in Wales’.
To help achieve this, there is a range of investment and funding opportunities to support organisations.
Researching funding and applying for grants takes time. Knowing which funding is the best for your organisation, can also be tricky. All of this takes time and resource, which most businesses don’t have.
On 22 May, Cardiff University are holding an Innovation Funding information workshop event, which will help organisations become more familiar with the funding initiatives available.
In this session, there will be a series of talks including:
- Welsh Government Innovation Team
- Dr Louise Jones, Regional Manager for Wales, Innovate UK
- Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs)
- A Case Study example
In addition to these talks, there will be a Q&A plus a group discussion session, where organisations can get together and discuss their ongoing challenges around innovation, funding or accessing collaborative partners.
