The Welsh Government, in partnership with the Centre for Public Value Procurement at Cardiff University, is excited to announce the 2024 Micro and Third Sector Showcase at Procurex Wales, taking place on Tuesday 5 November 2024, at the ICC Wales, Newport.
This new feature area is dedicated to celebrating supplier excellence and innovation among micro-businesses, social enterprises, charities and not-for-profit organisations in Wales. This year’s focus is on the food and drink sector, including suppliers providing services to schools, hospitals and other public service settings.
The 2024 Micro and Third Sector Showcase offers subsidised exhibition stands to highlight the vital contributions these smaller suppliers make to public procurement in Wales. The event aims to recognise their role, inspire further growth and encourage more collaborations with public procurement professionals.
Organisations that meet the criteria are invited to submit an ‘Expression of Interest’ by 19 September 2024. An independent panel will review all submissions and selected suppliers will be notified by early October.
Successful applicants will also receive support to maximise their presence at Procurex Wales.
Organisations are welcome to promote this opportunity within their own networks and encourage eligible suppliers to submit an Expression of Interest.
