Modern Slavery – Bright Future

In 2022 alone, 17,000 survivors of modern slavery were identified in the UK.

Survivors face a number of barriers to finding safe and permanent employment as a result of their exploitation, including:

  • a lack of confidence
  • job history
  • interview experience

Bright Future aims to break down these barriers by offering the opportunity of work without the need for a CV or a competitive interview. This accessible route to employment reduces the risk of re-exploitation.

Can your business support survivors of Modern Slavery to access safe, permanent employment?

Bright Future Co-op has recently expanded into Wales and is keen to work with businesses to support survivors of Modern Slavery to access employment.

The organisation already works with a number of companies across the UK to support them in providing employment opportunities to Modern Slavery survivors. If you are interested in finding out more, Bright Future can be contacted at info@brightfuture.coop and their business summary is available here
