The Welsh Government have been working with UK Research and Consultancy Services, WCVA and stakeholders on the co-creation of a new approach to volunteering in Wales.
It aims to update and extend existing volunteering policy in line with the latest research findings, and to reflect good practice found in Wales and other countries.
The next step for the Volunteering Cross Sectoral Leadership Group, who have been leading on this work, is to develop an Implementation Plan to support the adoption of the New Approach across Wales.
