The North Wales Regional Skills Partnership (RSP) is one of four regional partnerships across Wales. The RSP has been developed to inform Welsh Government’s strategic approach to the delivery of skills and employment provision by identifying skills gaps and shortages in the region, based on employer-led insight.
We are currently undertaking research to understand business skills and employment needs of the region to develop our next three-year regional Skills and Employment Plan 2022-25.
We are calling on employers to share their current experience with skills and employment, including their views on future skills needs.
The aim of the research is to gain a better understanding of the support needed for businesses across North Wales in terms of skills and employment so that we can determine regional priorities and key areas for development to meet business needs.
We have produced a short online skills survey for businesses in the region, which should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. The responses from the survey, together with other intelligence received through employer focus groups and one to one employer interviews will give us a baseline of the challenges and skills gaps facing businesses in the area of skills, training and workforce development. We will also be sharing the outcomes of our research with Welsh Government to influence skills policy and post 16 provision.
We want as many employers across the region from a variety of sectors to have the opportunity of collaborating with us to co-develop the new regional skills and employment plan.
Please follow the link below in order to complete a short online survey, which should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. The survey will close at 12pm on Tuesday 31 May 2022.
